Pruning 2014

Grape growers throughout eastern North America were faced with significant winter injury to buds.   As a result,  many growers modified their pruning intensity to leave extra buds to compensate.   They used a variety of techniques.  Here I offer without further comment a photo gallery of  pruned dormant vines, mostly V. vinifera cultivars, from the Finger Lakes and Northern NY.
