The Cornell Enology Extension Lab (CEEL), located at Cornell AgriTech at the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva, NY, is home to the Cornell Craft Beverage Institute Analytical Laboratory and the Vinification & Brewing Laboratory.
The V&B lab conducts research fermentations to evaluate viticulture treatments, winemaking techniques and new grape varieties. The V&B also hosts lab portions of training workshops.
CEEL also organizes workshops for winemakers, cider producers and distillers. The largest annual event is the Business, Enology and Viticulture conference or BEV NY.
BEV NY will take place at the end of February/beginning of March 2020. Stay tuned for dates.
