This quarterly newsletter features in-depth, accessible research articles, news about research, teaching, and extension, and profiles of faculty, students, and industry collaborations at Cornell. Cornell has long been a leader in viticulture and enology research and extension serving New York's grape and wine industry, the third largest in the US. With over 40 faculty and staff involved with research, extension, and teaching on and off campus, we have a lot going on at Cornell.
Veraison to Harvest is an electronic newsletter produced weekly in September and October by viticulture and enology extension personnel from Lake Erie, Long Island, the Hudson Valley and the Finger Lakes. Each issue provides accurate and up-to-date regional data on grape ripening and harvest conditions throughout New York, and additional topical articles on winemaking or viticultural issues. Veraison to Harvest is funded by the New York Wine and Grape Foundation's Total Quality Focus and Sustainability program.
